FC Kahuna, 'Hayling'

NPR’s “On Point” often plays an ambient tune to transition to local news breaks and I finally realized what it is today: “Hayling” by FC Kahuna.

I knew it sounded familiar. “Hayling” is used in Layer Cake (an awesome movie) and Riding Giants (an equally awesome movie). A couple months ago, after rewatching Layer Cake, I thought about buying Machine Says Yes, the CD that includes “Hayling,” but decided against it. “Hayling” is a gem, but none of the other songs live up to it.
