Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock, "It Takes Two"

Don’t ask how, but I stumbled across this official video of Rob Bank and DJ E-Z Rock’s epic “It Takes Two.” The song is obviously priceless, but the video is hot shit. It features that high quality, urban inspired experimentalism that seems to go hand-in-hand with hip-hop. Plus, it’s amazingly dated. Check out those track suits.

This song always reminds me of my sister’s first dance recital, way back in 1991. “It Takes Two” was used by one of the groups, and it was likely the first time I ever heard it.
