The Gems of Sharpless: May 14, 2014

Compared to the last couple weeks, there was slim pickings at Sharpless today. There were still, of course, a couple gems.

-I would have loved this as a kid.

-A nice little basement bar.

-An interesting combination of glassware: a massive Simpsons mug and a WB Network champagne glass. Now that’s classy.

-This guy had it all, apparently: guns and centerfolds. Among the Playboys were issues from the late-fifties. And, yes, I could not resist a peek at Drew Barrymore in the buff.

-Cool Iowa wrestling mirror.

-Cockpit ad. Regarding the text in the lower right: I am pretty sure Apple used the same font for its ads in the nineties.

-Oh, man. Tumbling mats.
