The Novel Diary: Week 60
Word count: 469 (Chapter 5 (2.0)); 40,731 (total).
After a 25-week break I am writing in my novel once again. I wrapped up my latest round of outlining on Thursday and started Chapter 5 (2.0) last night, rewriting a pivotal scene to match drastic changes I have made in the plot. Obviously it will nullify whatever I wrote before but I will remove it later; until then I will conveniently continue to count it as part of the overall word count.
