Good Tunes: The Bucketheads, 'The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall into My Mind)'

Here’s a funky, energizing blast from the junior high dances of my past: “The Bomb! (These Sounds Fall into My Mind)” by The Bucketheads.

I have the impression this song was featured on one of the early Jock Jams CDs. I swear I had one or two of those around but can’t find them. Those CDs were also very influential in my formative years.

I assumed the characters in the music video are The Bucketheads, or at least the man playing the DJ. Nope. One man is behind The Bucketsheads: Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez.
