Beer of the Weekend #1,162: Hella Yeah!
The beer of the weekend last weekend was Hella Yeah! brewed by the Marto Brewing Company of Sioux City, Iowa.

Serving type: 16-ounce can. “3/26/26” was printed on the bottom.
Appearance: Poured into a flute. (I should get a champagne glass.) The color was straw. An off-white, bubbly, fluffy head popped away slowly.
Smell: Floral and malty. Light grass and zest. A touch of strawberry.
Taste: Dry, floral, malty. Earthy spice lingered on the taste buds. There were pops of zest and some grass. It was nice and easy drinking stuff, a decent hellas.
Fun facts about Hella Yeah!
• Style: Hellas.
• Price: $13.99 for a 4-pack of 16-ounce cans at John’s Grocery in Iowa City.
• Alcohol content: 4.9 percent ABV.
• The name makes me think of the Dead Prez song “Hell Yeah (Pimp the System).”
The Quiet Man’s grade: B+.
