The Gems of Sharpless: October 23, 2013
-I believe the same person who made the male and female campfire sticks from last night made these metal figures.
-An old book written in what looked to be Czech or Polish. It was apparently owned by the Chicago Public Library, which means it was probably Polish.
-Longnecks! I have no clue what these were, exactly. Probably advertising inserts or something.
-The “C” on this Coors tray looks very similar to the one used by the Cubs.
-Hamms 1973 Oktoberfest steins.
-This was basically the Urban Dictionary on paper.
-Written on the back of this photo was this text: “William Bradley at his work in spinning factory Oldham, England. Circa 1910.”
-Welcome to Plasticville!
-A souvenir bottle from Dwight Eisenhower’s inauguration in 1953.
-A bottle of Fox Head beer.
-A cool little AT&T logo plane that doubles as a tape dispenser. The tail wings are actually handles for a pair of scissors that can be pulled out.
-A table of mannequin heads and wigs. Creepy.
