Good Tunes: Dave Matthews Band, 'Ants Marching'

Summer ended today, but I’m going to keep writing this sporadic posts about the summer of 1995. Because I want to. I have a few more I want to write, so hopefully I will get to them soon.

Another song that sticks with me from 1995 is “Ants Marching” by Dave Matthews Band. Though part of DMB’s 1994 album Under the Table and Dreaming, “Ants Marching” was released as a single in September 1995 (per Wikipedia). It makes me think of the awkward first few weeks of junior high, but also, interestingly, the state fair and driving Interstate 80 to Des Moines on a bright blue day before school started. Weird.
