Good Tunes: Tiësto, 'Essential Mix (Live @ Amnesia Ibiza) 2005-08-07'

How have I not posted this Tiësto Essential Mix before? I’m unsure, but I am remedying the oversight now.

This is an epic mix. E-p-i-c. It is rhythmic, hypnotic, and entrancing—essentials for amazing electronic music IMHO. There are segments that give me goosebumps. It is syntax with sound. Yes, it features vocals, which is often a deal breaker for me, but they are not intrusive. It’s a mix that makes me feel good.

I also like the video photo. It evokes peace and serenity to me. The last light of the day (I assume it was taken after sunset), the wind turbines, the car and its lights. (The notes say the car is a Toyota AE86.) It is endearing and romantic.
