Good Tunes: Men I Trust, 'Seven'

Here’s a good tune I stumbled across while checking out more of Anna Burch’s stuff: “Seven” by Men I Trust. It has to be the most seventies thing I’ve seen or heard in a long time.

I’ve been digging this type of mellow stuff lately. I had been listening to a lot of harder electronic music and realized it was contributing to my stress. (Too much of a good thing, as they say.) The sound of “Seven” is very familiar, reminiscent of Steely Dan. It reminds me of careless, perfect afternoons in June, and the video plays to that. It makes me eager for spring to arrive.
