Deftones, 'Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)'

I’ve been in a Deftones mood lately. I’m not sure why. It’s just one those things that happens, when all of a sudden a Deftones song pops in your head and you think, “Oh yeah — the Deftones. I need to listen to more Deftones.” So I have, which is why I wanted to post the video for “Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away).”

Seriously, I do need to listen to more Deftones. I like the Deftones but only own one of the band’s albums — the re-release of White Pony. I saw an interview with lead vocalist Chino Moreno where he talked about the band’s focus on creating soundscapes. That is one thing I like about the Deftones — the soundscapes of their songs and the emotions they conjure. They make great music and I really need to get a hold of a few more albums.
