Beer of the Weekend #890: Victory Dance

After riding RAGBRAI on Friday, I did not feel like filling my growler, which is why I picked up a six-pack of Victory Dance, brewed by the Singlespeed Brewing Company of Waterloo, Iowa.

The color is hazy, light golden amber. Two fingers of beige, mostly nondescript, buttery head settles slowly, leaving a bubbly lacing.

The aroma is light but citrusy. There are scents of grapefruit, orange, lemon, and a touch of tropical fruit. It has an inviting malt backbone of sweet caramel. It is arboreal and floral.

The first sip is pleasant and flavorful. It is not a big or bombastic IPA, but it is zesty and citrusy. It is arboreal and floral much like the aroma. It is soft and very pleasing with flavors of grapefruit, orange, lemon, pine, floral hops, and light caramel.
