My 2012 NCAA Tourney bracket: my sorry Sweet 16

On Thursday night the team I penned as champions on my bracket fell to a team I picked against in the Second Round. Ugh.

With my champions out, I think my chances of winning my dad’s work pool fell to nil. However, there is good news: three of my Final Four teams are still alive and it seems everybody’s bracket looks like mine (a complete mess). That is a sorry consolation, though.

Frankly, I think this is my worst bracket in years. In ’09 I picked a perfect South Region. The South is once again the pride of my bracket, but it is far from perfect. My other Regions are disasters. But it is all in good fun — except for the fact I could have spent that $5 entry fee on something useful.
