Instead of going to the game tonight, I attended my cousin’s wedding rehearsal dinner held at the Kinnick Stadium press box. With an unobstructed view of the field — which will see no action until the spring game — it was very cool. Though the Hawks made mincemeat of their opponent tonight, there was no way I was going to pass on a family gathering, especially in the opulent and exclusive confines of the Krause Family Plaza.

Frankly, though, I would rather watch games in the stands than from the climate controlled, catered, and corporate-friendly sterility of the press box.
