Falco, "Wiener Blut"

I just realized October passed without a quirky/cool music video post. That means it’s “Wiener Blut” time.

More Falco. Though apparently a big coke fiend, the man was insanely creative, original, and critical in that mocking Germanic way. I found “Wiener Blut” after Zee German told me Falco did the original “Der Kommissar.” The song is a play off the classic Johann Strauss waltz of the same name, which is played at the very beginning as the blueblood angels sway. Translated from the German, “Wiener Blut” is “Viennese Blood,” and Falco’s version criticizes the Austrian upper crust.
