Beer of the Weekend #982: To Peach Their Own

The beer of the weekend last weekend (I’m still a week behind) was To Peach Their Own, brewed by the No Coast Beer Company of Oskaloosa, Iowa.

To Peach Their Own

Serving type: 16-ounce can. “CANNED ON 07/01/22” is printed on the bottom.

Appearance: Poured into a pint glass. The color is hazy gold. A finger and a half of off-white, bubbly head leaves a circle of skim and a collar.

Smell: Mostly wheat and peach. It is pretty straightforward: fruity, sweet, and enticing. The scent is light.

Taste: Dry and slightly tart. Peach and wheat make a tasty duo, and the peach is pleasantly tart. It is akin to a peach version of cider. The Foxy Lady, however, had this to say after taking a sip: “It’s like if you drank a lot of beer, did some shots of peach schnapps, and puked.” It does, I will say, taste a lot like peach schnapps.
