Good Tunes: Deep Blue Something, 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'

Here’s another tune that was all over Q103 in the summer of 1995: Deep Blue Something’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.”

This is a song I associate with my babysitter’s green Ford Tempo; it conjures memories of riding around in the Tempo on bright middays, probably going to or from the pool. “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and another song I’ll feature soon (which is the Tempo tune) make me think of waiting at stoplights along the Highway 6 bypass. What was it about those songs and stoplights that stick together? I have no clue, but that is what they make me think of.
