Michael Gray, "The Weekend"
I really wish I was that copier.
If I should feel any kind of shame for posting this, I don’t — and won’t. Frankly, both the tune and video are bangin’. Here is the direct link to the video since the constrains of The Quiet Man cut off all its wide-ratio glory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GR8jOJZERhs&feature=related. (Sorry for any ad that might play before.)
I had never heard of Michael Gray before stumbling upon this gem, apparently released in 2004, earlier today. Judging by another video of his, I guess he does Eurohouse. Though electronic music has been a fascination of mine since the heady days of early-nineties Eurodance — Real McCoy, Snap!, and the like — I do not care for pop-house and pop-techno. It is often, for lack of a better term, too gay. However, there are a few exceptions that pique my interest, and “The Weekend” is one of them.
Gray is British, which is somewhat ironic . In British English, the color gray is spelled “grey.” “Gray” is the American English variation.
