Ohio State 26, Oregon 17

Once in a blue moon I’ll cheer for Ohio State. There was a blue moon last night.

As a proud Midwesterner and Big Ten fan, there was no question what team I was rooting for in the Rose Bowl. And when the final whistle blew on the Buckeyes’ 26-17 win over the Ducks, I was just as happy as most other Big Ten’ers out there. For the first time since 2000, the Big Ten has won the Rose. Hallelujah!
