Beer of the Weekend: on hiatus

BotW is on hiatus one again, though I did try a new beer: Penn Pilsner. It was okay but not as good as the Penn Dark on tap at the hotel bar (which costs a whopping $6.75 per pint).

Tomorrow I have a long drive ahead of me so I am hitting the hay early. Before dinner, though, I ventured to the Duquesne Incline with a crew of fellow conference workers and snapped some awesome pictures from the overlook at the top, including the one above.

Tonight someone told me convenience stores are unable to sell beer in Pennsylvania, which is a huge bummer because I was going to try to stop at one tomorrow morning on my way out to snag a couple sixers. I did not get to Beer World (or Quiet Storm) as I wanted to, but my beer nerdiness has taken a back seat on these recent trips. I just have not cared — so long as there is beer to drink.
