Michigan 80, Iowa 78

UGGGGGGGGGGH! I don't believe it. The Hawks were three points up with seconds to spare and they gave up a three to put the game into overtime.

I think I cursed them. The Hawks were holding tough in the final minutes, and I decided to call a buddy and say "It's chips and salsa time!" when the final buzzer sounded. (Mac McCausland used to say that after every Hawkeye victory.) But I didn't get to do it. FUCK!

I'm proud of the Hawks, though, especially since Michigan blew them out in Ann Arbor. At least it was a good game. Aaron Fuller was a man possessed tonight. But the Hawks have to live with the bitter taste of this game until next Thursday, when they play their next game at Northwestern.
